First
automated patch clamp of Mitochondria |
|
|
|
| |
flyion proudly announces the automated patch clamping of
mitochondria with its proprietary Flyscreen
robot using FlipTip
glass pipettes. The Flyscreen robot is the only Automated
Patch Clamp system worldwide that can be adopted to cell organelles
as small as mitochondria with diameters below 1000 nm.
The special recording tips required were manufactured using
flyion's Feedback-Microforge
technology. Single channel currents of the outer membrane
of mitochondria have been measured in the laboratory of the
Institut Bergonié et INSERM E347, France. The experiments
were co-organized by Dipsi
Industrie, flyion's exclusive representative in France.
